Extrinsic motivation
Extrinsically motivated individuals, on the other hand, learn solely for the purpose of receiving a reward or avoiding punishment. Extrinsic motivation is defined as the desire to obtain a reward or avoid a penalty that is unrelated to the action. Examples of extrinsic motivation include high grades, recognition, money, and work approval.
Extrinsically motivated people push themselves to complete projects, activities, and responsibilities. They are also ready to learn and always put up the smallest amount of effort in order to obtain the most preferable results.
Intrinsically motivated people, on the other hand, are more energetic, self-driven, demanding, and enjoy their studies. Extrinsically motivated persons are more prone to use strategies that require more effort and allow them to absorb information more thoroughly. People who were intrinsically motivated used more logical and decision-making techniques than students who were extrinsically motivated when faced with a variety of intellectual tasks.
Students who are intrinsically motivated choose less difficult tasks, whereas those who are behaviorally motivated choose to engage in difficult activities. People who are intrinsically motivated are more likely to put in the bare minimum of effort in order to gain the greatest benefit.
Motivation is a factor that influences how people feel about the success process. Some of us are extrinsically driven by the reward we will receive if we complete a task. Some people work hard to achieve their goals and do not adhere to the norms of others.
Motivation will at least will guide you to the path of success. Whether you will use you are intrinsically or extrinsically motivated, the success should be your end result. Bear in mind that you have to be motivated to do something to your life to build yourself and have courage and eagerness to succeed.
It is critical to remember that regardless of our motivation strategy, we must be productive in the manner that we desire. With our personal experiences, we always want to be productive and successful. Nonetheless, motivation is a critical component of success.
